WHAT IS LOVE ME TENDER DAY?
It is the brainchild of one of the country's most dedicated Elvis Presley Tribute Artists, GaryElvis Britt, from Plant City, FL. He had performed internationally in Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico and Saigon, Vietnam, as well as nearly throughout half of the United States. The plan is to join the world together with Elvis for the first time since Elvis' Aloha from Hawaii concert in 1973. Everyone will be singing together around the world at the exact same moment in time. Everyone will bring food for the local needy families and teddy bears for the locally hospitalized Burn Unit children, given in Elvis' name. Special volunteers will be needed as LMTD ambassadors to be responsible for distribution.

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?
Because, after so many years, we all miss Elvis and can do something great together to honor him and his legacy. Since it's never been done, it's long overdue!

WHERE WILL THIS TAKE PLACE?
All over the world, everywhere there are Elvis fans and Elvis Tribute Artists and Singers! Look to Countdown Shows, all year round, like those by the Touched by Elvis Fan Club, Roy LeBlanc, Bill Kelly and more. Fan estimates are in the millions!

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
Nothing except commit to singing "Love Me Tender" for 10 minutes beginning exactly at the stroke of 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 7 p.m. MST and 6 p.m. PST U.S. time on August 16 EVERY YEAR and bring canned food and a teddy bear to give away. That's it! But with our goal of over 1 million households together, this will be incredible! When it all works out, perhaps, the world will celebrate this date every year and create a worldwide holiday! Watch for countdown to Love Me Tender Day shows all year!

You can plan a Countdown Show now! Because we need the time to get the idea out to everyone! We need more Fan Clubs to get behind the idea. We need the local Elvis Tribute Artists and impersonators to join and support this plan and be ready to lead groups in singing, and we need you! If you can get just 10 more households to commit to you and ask each one to algo get 10 more, together we can make this huge event happen!
